Emotional Intelligence Workshop Culminates in Heartfelt Closing Program
A week of introspection and growth ended today as Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) celebrated the successful completion of its Emotional Intelligence Workshop. Faculty and staff from batches 1 to 3 and another batch of student leaders, gathered at the Social Welfare Development Center (SWDC) for a closing program marking the end of the intensive training.
The workshop, held from March 3rd to 7th, focused on enhancing the emotional intelligence of participating faculty, staff, and students, recognizing the critical role these skills play in both professional and personal development.
Mr. Nelson Sabit, a participant, stated that he was hesitant to open up at first during the program.
“We are regulating our emotions, of course, para sa usa ka lalake [for a guy like me]. It is so hard for me to evaluate myself. But so far, mao ni akoang pinaka the best nga seminar nga akong na attend [this is the best seminar I have ever attended.]”, which earned praises and approval from the other participants.
The workshop was led by esteemed speaker Teresita R. Albert, whose expertise in emotional intelligence guided participants through a series of interactive sessions and exercises. The program aimed to equip participants with the skills to improve communication, build stronger relationships, and navigate challenging situations with greater resilience.
The college thanked Teresita R. Albert for her insightful guidance and active engagement with all participants throughout the week. The successful completion of this batch of workshops marks a significant step towards building a more emotionally intelligent and collaborative community within the institution.
